  • How to exchange UDP data using PHPoC shield 2 for Arduino ?

    Hi !

I'm using a PHPoC shield 2 for Arduino and I'm trying to read data sent by UDP.
I found Ethernet Shield examples for UDP messages, but nothing for PHPoC shield 2.
I tried to adapt the Ethernet code to my situation, but it didn't work (i guess because it's not the same librairies).

Is there a library using <Phpoc.h> that allows to communicate by UDP ?
Or is there a way to adapt the Ethernet code to my situation ?

Thank you in advance for your help

    Hello,
Unfortunately, PHPoC Shield does not support UDP. I guess because UDP is not popularly used with Arduino.

Hi ! Thanks for your quick answer, even though i thought it would be possible (as it's written on the datasheet ^^').
I guess I'll try sending my informations through the serial port then.

I think you can also send data via TCP. It is more reliable than UDP.

Maybe, but in my case the device sending the information doesn't like TCP :'(
    Working...
