  • Cascading Errors - WiFi problems lead to PHPoCD errors lead to COM drive problems

    A whole series of problems...

I just received my new PHPoc ... but was having REAL trouble connecting to WiFi - I got
    log> phpoc_spi: resync spi channel v1 ... failed
    log> sppc_spi: resync spi channel v2 ... failed

Reading around the solution SEEMS to be to update my firmware:
    https://forum.phpoc.com/forum/questi...e-phpoc-shield

But after downloading PHPoCD v1.5.0, I can't find a COM port to connect to:
    https://forum.phpoc.com/forum/questi...-with-com-port

So I stack my PHPoC with an Arduino UNO, connect the UNO using a USB and the PHPoc using a micro USB - and in Device manager,
I see the UNO, but NOTHING like STMicroelectronics Virtual Port.

I check my Virtual Com Port Driver
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SollaeSystems\PHPoC\virtual comport driver\Win8
    (I am on Win10 64-bit, so I choose dpinst_amd64)

STILL NOTHING. 3 hours in I AM REALLY STUCK.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Hi there,
In order to connect PHPoC Debugger and PHPoC Shield, you should do the following step:
    - Stack PHPoC Shield on Arduino Uno
    - Power for Arduino (via Power Adapter or via USB cable)
    - Connect PHPoC shield to PC via microUSB cable
If you still does not see the comport, we would like to support you via a remote connection using a software, which is similar to TeamViewer.
