  • Unable to connect with COM port

Hello i use Arduino UNO R3 with PHPoC Shield.

In PHPoC Shield i setup my custom IPv4 IP address with static IP address. In Wireless LAN i connect Infrastructure mode and connect the board with my local network.

After, i try to connect PHPoC Debugger with board in order to upload my project but the only COM port that shows is NETWORK even though ι use usb cable...
The problems comes whet i search for network connection, i get the message "The product not found"... I cange Response time and nothing happened.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello,
Connection through network is added on PHPoC firmware version 1.4.0 or later, and not enable by default. I am not sure which firmware version of your PHPoC Shield.

For connecting via USB cable, do you see any "STMicroelectronics Virtual COM Port" on your device manager?

        Hello Konstantinos,
Please do the following step to connectPHPoC Shield to PHPoC debugger:
        - Stack PHPoC Shield on Arduino.
        - Connect Arduino to PC via USB cable
        - Connect PHPoC Shield to PC via micro USB cable.
        - Open PHPoC Debugger, Select comport and connect.

If you still does not see any com port, please tell us:
        - PHPoC debugger version.
        - Check Virtual com-port driver (), Usually located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\SollaeSystems\PHPoC\virtual comport driver". Update driver for com-port on device manager.

If problem is not solved, please feel free to comment here!

        Best regards,

I'm having the same problem. Using a Arduino UNO and the stackable SunFounder Ethernet Shield W5100.

My Arduino has a USB connection, and showing up as com5 in the system. My Shield does not have a usb port that I can see. Any ideas how to connect?

          Thanks
